Compendim of nut crop Diseases in temperate zones

Abstract

This compendium was written to serve as a sourcebook for anyone involved in the production of almond, hazelnut, pecan, pistachio, and English walnut crops in orchards worldwide. Other nut crops have not been included, in order to maintain the quality of the book while adhering 10 the length restrictions. Thus diseases of tropical nut crop (Brazil nut, cashew, and macadamia) are not described here. Black walnut and chcst­nu1 are also omitted, because the disease literature focuses on these trees as forest or lumber crops rather than as nut crops.
